Sue Fyfe

Dr Sue Fyfe has a strong background in academic research and leadership with over 30 years’ experience in university, not for profit and government roles. Her primary degree was in science leading into biology teaching and she has a long-term interest in ecology and environmental issues. She has lived on a bush block on the Darling scarp near Dwellingup for 23 years and has firsthand knowledge of dealing with exotics, feral animals and the effects of bushfire. Sue is committed to building strong, resilient communities within an environment that is cared for and well managed. She is a member of the Peel Community Development Group, Dwellingup Compact and was Deputy Chair of the Peel Development Commission Board. Sue is currently Chair of the Forest Discovery Centre in Dwellingup.
