Are you from the Perth’s Peri-Urban Region and is your community group keen to educate local farmers about Regenerative Agriculture? Do you want to know more about a particular agricultural practice, but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you know what you want to learn more about, but don’t have the resources to get someone to come and talk to you and your neighbours about how to start farming in a new way?

Well, RegenWA has an opportunity for you to make your hectare count!

Expressions of interest are being invited by RegenWA for innovative community group or individual funding to help raise community knowledge about and ability to practice RegenAg in their own way.

If your community group is keen to educate local farmers about Regenerative Agriculture, or you want to know more about a particular regenerative practice, but don’t know where to start; or maybe you know what you want to learn more about, but don’t have the resources to discover more about getting it to happen, then RegenWA has an opportunity for you!

Peri-urban landowners are known for their passion for the land, their keenness to be part of our rural communities and the diversity of their farming operations. From small scale fruit production, local market gardens, equine interests or horticultural operations, they make up a critical bridge between larger scale farming operations and the more built-up urban centres around Western Australia. So it’s not surprising that there are a multitude of opportunities for peri-urban landholders to want to know about making Regenerative Agriculture work on their properties!

To support this need, RegenWA has requested Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) for community groups across WA to run small workshops to increase the ability for local communities to gain skills and confidence to farm in new and exciting ways!

New EOI’s are sought by RegenWA for innovative community group or individual funding to help raise the communities’ knowledge about and ability to practice Regen Ag in their own way.
