Join Us at the Williams River Gathering – A Celebration of Nature and Community!

Come along to the Williams River Gathering on Saturday 6 September, from 9am – 11.30am, for a free, family-friendly morning celebrating the restoration and revegetation works of the Williams Riverbank!

Enjoy guided walks to nearby restoration sites (with a chance to get your hands dirty and plant a seedling or two) and take part in a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony led by local Wilman Elders. There’ll be cultural demonstrations, nature-based crafts for all ages, and of course, a delicious Lions Club BBQ and coffee van to keep you fuelled throughout the morning.

Bring your friends, your family, and your curiosity and help us celebrate!

Location: Riverbank beside the Williams Rest Area and adjacent carpark
Cost: Free – all are welcome!

We acknowledge the Noongar people as Traditional Custodians of this land and pay our respects to all Elders past and present
