Special guest, Jacob Berson, who is a Research Associate at the School of Biological Sciences from the University of Western Australia, has been invited to share knowledge about how dung beetles have the ability to reduce nutrient runoff into our waterways and increase soil productivity. Additionally, Jacob will perform a trapping demonstration and explain how this can be used as a tool to determine if your property has a high or low presence of dung beetles.

This field day/workshop will give the opportunity to connect with like-minded people and expand knowledge on how the world of dung beetles work.

This project is supported by the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council through funding from the Alcoa Foundation’s Three Rivers, One Estuary Initiative and the Australian Governments National Landcare Program.

We acknowledge the Noongar people as Traditional Custodians of this land and pay our respects to all Elders past and present
