LOVE SHOREBIRDS? WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Ever wondered how you can help protect our amazing shorebirds and contribute to their conservation across the region? Here’s your chance to turn your birdwatching passion into something truly meaningful!

Join us for our FREE Shorebird ID Workshop, a fun and hands-on two-day experience designed to help you sharpen your identification skills and get to know our feathered friends a whole lot better!

– Two full days of learning and discovery
– 8.00am – 4.00pm each day
– 5 Rivers Event Shed
– Food and drinks provided

Expect a mix of classroom learning and field time, where you’ll put your new skills to the test out in the field. From learning to identify different shorebird species to building your confidence in the field, it’s a fantastic opportunity to grow your knowledge, meet like-minded bird enthusiasts, and play a part in protecting these incredible birds.

The workshop will also help prepare you for the Annual Shorebird Census on 31 January 2027, so if you’d like to get involved in this important conservation effort, this is the perfect place to start!

Whether you’re a keen birdwatcher looking to upskill or simply passionate about wildlife and conservation, we’d love to hear from you!
