Conference Information

In September 2021 the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) will host the 21st AAEE Conference in Mandurah. The 2021 conference, Mandjoogoordap: Changing Tides, aims to showcase innovative, practical and effective tools to help us “change the tides” of environmental and sustainability education.

The conference will be held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre from 28th to 30th September 2021. For more information about this years’ program via the conference webpage, please click here.

 

Scholarships 

 

PHCC are delighted to offer have 4 scholarships available for funded tickets to attend the AAEE 2021 Conference. The scholarship categories are:

1 x place for a community volunteer or educator whose work relates to numbats (sponsored by PHCC’s Numbat Neighbourhood Project through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program)

1 x place for a community volunteer or educator whose work relates to wetlands of the Peel-Harvey Catchment (sponsored by PHCC’s Wetlands and People Project through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program)

1 x place for a school teacher currently teaching at a school within the Peel-Harvey catchment area (sponsored by PHCC’s Wetlands and People Project through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program)

1 x place for a tertiary education student who lives and/ or studies in the Peel-Harvey catchment area (sponsored by PHCC’s Wetlands and People Project through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program)

In order to qualify for a PHCC scholarship you must:

1) Live and/ or work (including volunteer work) in the Peel-Harvey Catchment area 
2) Complete the PHCC Scholarship Form via the conference webpage: https://aaeeconference.org.au/scholarships/
