Since 2017 Grazing Matcher has been assisting southern WA livestock producers improving productivity and efficiency.

Evidence based Grazing Management tailored to southern WA. This heavily subsidised program has been assisting livestock producers fine tune their grazing systems

  • Principles to optimise pasture utilisation and resilience independent of operation size.
  • Implement principles to fit your system
  • Efficient hay and silage production/purchase (quality, quantity and cost), storage and allocation
  • Understand seasonal stock requirement fluctuations
  • Feed test interpretation and efficient feed allocation
  • Monitoring stock condition to meet production targets
  • Farm business performance indicators.
  • ...and more!

Next program, commencing May 2025, groups in the various areas (pending minimal numbers). Other areas may be considered.

How it works:

Eight to ten businesses per group,

Up to two people per business,

Eight 1/2-day on-farm meetings over 12 months,

Sessions facilitated by WA advisors: Jeisane Accioly (ALIS), Dan Parnell (Agsure ) and Martin Staines (Leuca Creek),

Peer networking and professional advice to support your business, both at and between meetings.

Cost per business: $700 (+GST) tax deductible

(up to $5275 additional cost per business covered by sponsorship/in-kind)
