BirdLife WA and PHCC are offering the second year of an intensive mentoring based shorebird identification training program during December 2021. This advanced training course is aimed at beginner to intermediate experience shorebirders who would like to attain the skills to conduct shorebird surveys.

The program includes a classroom session and three guided field visits to various areas throughout the Peel-Yalgorup Ramsar site. Thank you to BirdLife WA for bringing this program to our region, and especially to our expert mentors Alfred and Hidi Lau, Bill Russell, Jim Campbell, and Robert Wroth for offering their expertise and making this program possible!

Please note, the program is now fully booked!

This project is supported by the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program

We acknowledge the Noongar people as Traditional Custodians of this land and pay our respects to all Elders past and present
