In celebration of World Wetlands Day 2020, Mandurah Environmental Volunteer Alliance is hosting an event to raise awareness, educate and encourage people to protect our beautiful waterways and biodiversity.

Environmental volunteer groups will be setting up on the north end of the Eastern Foreshore with activities related to our waterways and biodiversity.

As a part of this event, Peel-Harvey Catchment Council will be running the popular The Flock activity whereby attendees will be invited to paint wooden shorebird stencils to raise awareness for the migratory shorebirds that visit our local waterways every year.

Come and take part in family-friendly activities, learn about our Ramsar Wetlands and discover opportunities to get involved with these great environmental groups.

This project is supported by Peel-Harvey Catchment Council, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.

We acknowledge the Noongar people as Traditional Custodians of this land and pay our respects to all Elders past and present
