Over the past couple of years soils of Western Australia are slowly rising up into the spotlight through resources, such as the Regen WA website https://www.regenwa.com/ and Ellen Walker’s TED X talk https://www.ted.com/talks/ellen_walker_the_world_beneath_our_feet.

Serpentine Jarrahdale Food and Farm Alliance (https://www.sjfoodandfarmalliance.com.au) are also sharing soil knowledge through events such as the “Healthy Soil, Healthy Pasture, Healthy Horse Trial,” starting in February 2021.

At a national level, information on soils is being supported through government funded programs such the National Cooperative Research Centre for high performing soils https://soilcrc.com.au/.

The Regional Agricultural Landcare facilitator is supported by the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program
