The baby bream have successfully arrived at John Tonkin College and are looking healthier than ever. With support and guidance from the Murdoch University’s Fish Health Unit team, students will help the bream grow by feeding and monitoring them from their aquaculture system. These fish will be released into the Murray River before the end of the year to help replenish the local Black Bream population so watch this space.

This project is supported by the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council through funding from the Royalties for Regions Program.
