Peel- Harvey Catchment Council invites drone photographers to submit aerial photographs for the event “Wetlands from Above”, a drone photography exhibition and competition designed to showcase the natural beauty of our wetland system. The exhibition is run as part of this years Stretch Festival and will be held at the Cape Bouvard Winery on Saturday the 14th of April. There will be three gift voucher prizes from Camera House awarded to the winners of the competition.
1st prize $300, 2nd prize $200, 3rdPrize $100.

Photographs must be of the Peel-Yalgorup Wetland System which includes the Peel Inlet, Harvey Estuary, Lake Goegrup, Black Lake, Lake McLarty, Lake Mealup, and the 10 lakes of Yalgorup National Park such as Lake Clifton and Lake Preston. The Peel-Yalgorup Wetlands System is an internationally significant site. It covers a total of 26, 530 hectares. The Peel-Yalgorup System is listed under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance, site 482 and is known as Ramsar 482.

Submissions close Friday the 9th of March 2018. Submissions will be judged in March and the successful drone photographers will be contacted.

Selected photographs for the competition:
1. Will need to be presented in a frame or mounted on card.
2. Can be priced for sale.
